DEMAREE …
is currently writing and recording her debut album. God recently opened an incredible and unexpected door. Demaree had the opportunity to meet the Legendary Dolly Parton and record a reimagined duet of You’ll Never Walk Alone with Dolly, streaming now, along with 4 original songs, on all streaming platforms.
Demaree toured the country as Nessarose in the Broadway National Tour of Wicked, but her musical theater roots started when she was a child. She made her Broadway debut at age 8, as Young Cosette in Les Misérables, and began singing as a soloist at her church at age 9. It was then that she felt the powerful connection of music to her faith.
At age 10, Demaree toured the country for almost 2 years in the lead role of Mary Lennox in The Broadway National Tour of The Secret Garden, and at age 15, she did a 9-month tour as Cynthia Benson in The Broadway National Tour of Big. One of Demaree’s lifelong dreams came true when she had the great honor of voicing Disney princesses such as Ariel, Cinderella, and Elsa on a special Disney project. Her voice can also be heard on Sony video games, and one of her greatest passions is storytelling through song and helping others heal through music
Before moving back to Nashville in 2020, Demaree was the Worship Director for the “One” Worship service at Oneonta Congregational Church, as well as part of the worship team at Lake Ave church in Pasadena. Over the past several years, Demaree has been guest-leading worship music at churches and women’s events around the US.
She is a single mom to two amazing children (11 and 9) who also love music!
Beyond her album, she is also penning her first book, "Reconciled," a devotional aimed at supporting single mothers through the divorce or breakup journey.
Despite facing personal challenges, including the journey of single motherhood and navigating post-divorce struggles, Demaree remains steadfast in her faith, finding solace and strength through her music and ministry. She looks forward with anticipation to the future, eager to see how God will continue to work through her life and her art.
